MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick and Matte Finish Eyeshadow

MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick and Matte Finish Eyeshadow are such things of beauty. I was lucky enough to try out MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy and Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster.

MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy:

MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in “Taffy” is pink, but it’s not a straightforward, cool pink. There’s just enough mauve mixed with the tiniest bit of brown to make it lean more neutral. It’s the kind of pink that can be worn with certain shades of brown eye shadow for a sophisticated daytime look.

MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in “Taffy” has a creamy, semi-matte texture, which I found wearable and flattering. It wasn’t at all the dry, velvet-textured matte that makes your lips look drier and thinner. The finish of MAKE’s Silk Cream Lipstick in “Taffy” was just right.

Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster:

MAKE Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster is a nice matte pink shade, and is perfect for everyday wear. Alabaster stayed put nicely on the eyes throughout the day with an eyelid primer, of course. The eyeshadow felt more powdery than buttery, but it’s lasting power surpassed my expectations.

I also love this shade as a highlight or all over lid color because it’s not too pale for an all over color and it’s not too pink for a highlight. This went on my eyes very smooth. The color is very light, so for me it’s ideal to use as a base, but it can also be used alone for a more natural look. It felt creamy to the touch which I thought was wonderful. It blends flawlessly with other colors and other textures as I used this in combination with a shimmer shadow for my brow highlight. It wore pretty well, was still visible until I took my makeup off and I normally wear my makeup for 10+ hours. Definitely will be my go to matte brow highlight.
