Recently, the folks at Billion Dollar Brows sent me four shades of their newly released BDB Brows on Point Micro Pencil.
This is a brand that I’ve wanted to try for a while and am so excited to be able to team up with them for this post. Brows are everything these days and you should never underestimate the power of a strong brow game.
Eyebrows are one of the most important features of our faces – and yet they are often the most neglected.
They believe that beautiful brows are a right, not a privilege. Their products are priced fairly so that you don’t have to break the bank to have Billion Dollar Brows.
NOW THE REAL QUESTION…DOES IT WORK??
I have gone through a lot of brow phases (who hasn’t?), the fuller brow look where you don’t do anything to them. You know, the most unruly and unshapen. I looked pretty rough in high school. And then you FINALLY get a pair of tweezers in your hand and wreaked havoc.
I am in no way a brow expert, but after a lot of tears and horrid pictures, I have figured out what works for me. I love trying brow products and this one is worth talking about!
Easily create hair like brush strokes with this micro pencil’s super-slim precision point to fill in and accentuate your brows. This mechanical pencil does not need a sharpener and covers every hair for maximum color pay off.
Super-fine, self-sharpening tip for precise application
Creates natural, blendable lines that mimic the look of individual hairs
Waterproof and smudge proof formula glides on smoothly and stays in place.
It’s versatile and it works great for someone who has thicker brows as well for someone with sparse brows.
Available in four versatile shades: Blonde, Light Brown, Taupe, Raven. Mix and Match to find the perfect shade for you.
I was sent shades Taupe, Maven, Light Brown, and Blonde. After testing them on my skin, I decided to use Blonde as it is the closest match with my eyebrow and skin color. Over the past week, I’ve used BDB brow pencil and absolutely love it! The thickness, saturation and creaminess is perfect.
I love the design of this pencil because it does it all. One side has a spoolie and the other has the pencil, which is super fine and perfect for precision. Also, there is no sharpening involved since the pencil side is automatic.
Step 1: First I outline the tail and fill it in. The tail should be darker than the front.
Step 2: Run the spoolie through the tail to make sure it’s nice and blended. Fill in any areas you may have missed.
Step 3: Outline the bottom of the front of the brow and fill in any sparse areas staying away from the inner part near your nose. If you get too close to the inner part, it can look to harsh.
Step 4: With lighter strokes, turn tiny hairs upwards.
Step %: Run the spoolie through everything and blending it and repeat until all sparse areas are filled to your liking.
Step 6: Set with a brow gel.
